Looking for the perfect spot to host your ceremony and reception? Look no further than the historic Wedderburn Tavern, one of Central Otago’s best kept secrets.

The Wedderburn Tavern is a unique and beautiful Central Otago wedding venue set amidst the spectacular landscapes of the Maniototo.

Our historic mudbrick bar, sheltered lawn, luxury marquee and pond create a romantic and idyllic setting for your big day. The 140-year-old stone tavern is a lovely backdrop for your ceremony or reception, or both.

The cost of hiring the venue for a wedding is $3000 ($1000 non-refundable deposit upon booking). We can accommodate a group of up to 120 guests, with a minimum of 40.

We have indoor and outdoor zones for your ceremony, and spacious lawn for picnics, canapés and drinks.

We are happy to work with outside catering, and we also have our own skilled chef working in a fully equipped commercial kitchen, BYO wine options, as well as a fully equipped bar and various drinks package selections.
